How To Wear Perfect Red Lipstick
A bright red lipstick is an instant attraction. But to get the look right, one has to keep in mind that the rest of the face is flawless and neutral.Steps to wear Red Lipstick :
1. Prepare the face with the moisturizer and the primer.
2. After this start off with the foundation. Apply the foundation evenly with a good foundation brush. Preferably, use brushes from Real Techniques.
3. Pack in the foundation with a good transparent powder. Use a tinted lip conditioner from Mac here to prep the lips. Remember when using a lip conditioner, give it enough time to set in so by the time you start work on the lips, they are soft.
4. Bronze the cheek bones using a contouring brush.
5. Use a frosty silver eye shadow for the eye lid and apply it with your fingers to blend it in.
6. Coat the lashes with mascara.
7. For the lips, first line the lips with a red lip liner. Start off with the cupids bow area and then draw out parallel lines to connect the entire lip. Once lined, fill in the lips with the same pencil. This helps the lipstick stay longer.
8. Use a bright red lipstick and apply it over the lips using a lip brush. This helps intensify the redness.
