Breakfast is the only meal of the day that keeps you going throughout the day! Is skipping breakfast bad? This is one question that most of us ask ourselves. Skipping breakfast can be very harmful for your health in the long run. Many of us tend to skip our breakfast which can lead to a number of health issues. A simple change in your eating habits can boost your energy levels and keep you active throughout the day. There are quite a few healthy meals for breakfast which include- oats, cornflakes, muesli and fresh fruits and occasionally a boiled egg. Start your day with these nourishing foods and feel energetic.

1. Obesity: It is but obvious that if you skip your breakfast then your hunger pangs during lunch time increase, temping you to eat more than required. As a result you put on a lot of weight which leads to obesity.

2. Mood swings: It is a known fact that people, who avoid the most important meal of the day, namely breakfast, experience a lot of mood swings. A survey conducted on these people showed that after they ate breakfast regularly, there was a drastic improvement in their temperaments. This just proves how important breakfast is for every individual.

3. Low blood sugar: Avoiding breakfast can lead to low blood sugar levels in the body. This further brings on dizziness and a feeling of lethargy and fatigue. Skipping breakfast affects your health drastically!

We should all, “Eat breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a popper”! Make health your first priority and begin the day with a meal filled with nutritional. Eat right for a sense of well being.
